Vajazzling
What is Vajazzle?
AKA Vadazzled, Vajazzled, and in England it's known as a Bollywood wax. Whatever you call it the biggest beauty trend is all about celebrating your lady bits. The bikini area should be waxed or shaved and then the area is adorned by Swarovski crystals. We have a number of beautiful house designs to choose from
or we can create a custom look. The idea is to celebrate yourself, do something sexy for yourself - and we're pretty sure your guy will love it too.
Preparation
Please arrive to your appointment with clean skin, no lotions or oils. Clothing should be loose or not obstruct the area to be hennaed. Manicures/Pedicures should be done in advance. For feet, flip flops, or bare feet are advisable. We recommend getting a wax the day before your appointment or shaving the day of the appointment. When you come in we will show you a range of designs to choose from and then it only takes around fifteen minutes to apply the gems.
Process
Once the design is chosen, and the area is cleansed with alcohol, the technician will proceed to carefully adhering the crystals. The process generally takes 5-15 minutes depending on where you would like to Vajazzle, and Vajazzle design. Time will be given for the crystals to adhere completely before dressing up.
Maintenance
The glue used on the Crystal is very strong but you should still be mindful to treat the area carefully. Try not to wear clothes that are very tight and rub on the vajazzled area. Also be careful not to forget you are vajazzled and scratch the area. If you treat them well, they will last 5 days or more on your skin.

Common Questions
Are the Crystals waterproof?
Yes, the Crystals are waterproof and will allow you to continue with your normal activities such as going to the gym, preforming sports, and even showing your design off at the beach or pool.
How do I remove the Crystals?
To remove gently peel the crystals from your skin. If needed, you can use baby oil to assist.
Does vajazzling hurt?
No, vajazzling does not hurt. They are flat on one side and only sit a couple of millimetres off the skin, therefore not causing any problems with brushing against regular clothing, objects etc.
How long do the crystals stay on?
Swarovski crystals will usually stay on for about 5 days. That is the current standard amongst salons and spas that we have contacted around the country.
Can I vajazzle over my Henna or Tattoo?
Henna or Tattooed skin is treated just as regular skin in this regard since crystals will hold eitherway. Vajazzling around these areas can be a creative way to add sparkle to an already existing design on your body. Glue Swarovski crystals in and around any of your tattoos.
What happens when my hair grows back?
Ideally you should wax instead of shave. A wax keeps the skin smoother for a longer period of time. However, a typical application lasts about 5 days. In this time, depending on how you trimmed, your skin could still be smooth. Of course, every woman's different. By the time your pubic hair grows back, the Swarovski crystals will have fallen off on their own. Just be sure to take care of your skin before applying the crystals. If you're experiencing excessive redness then wait a while before applying.
Is Vajazzling safe?
The process consists of glueing small Swarovski crystals directly to the skin. The glue used wears away within a few days. Nonetheless, let your technician know if you are allergic to anything in particular in order to make sure it’s not used during the application. Crystal tattoos may be applied on healthy skin only. Do not adhere to eyes or on mucous membranes. Crystal tattoos are not recommended for young children. Loose crystals may present a small parts hazard.
